C# will be forgotten? Who said that? Dumbest comment I've seen among these shiet comments lol.
Sharepoint on-premise is the one that will be forgotten. It is mostly used at the enterprise level to manage stuff but most enterprises now have their own developer teams for this case. For ones that do not have enough financial ability to build an on-premise, they buy the solution from another party. Avepoint is one of those providers. The problem is they rely on products too much. Things will turn worse if they cannot sell their homemade cake.
If I gotta say, the project team will survive through this storm. However, higher-ups do not care much about the project teams since they only consider it as a money-make machine to feed the product teams -

These managers love stalking other members in hopes of looking for something to report to their superiors to prove themselves useful 🤡

1. About the company:
- This company is owned by Chinese and it was founded in the US, I meant its owned by "Mainland Chinese", most of its employees are Mainland Chinese, Overseas Chinese and Vietnamese living in China, Singapore and Vietnam
- 100% English working environment (You're still welcomed if your English sucks)
2. Technologies stack:
- Most of their projects are whacky and slacky
- Heavily relied on Microsoft technologies that are already deprecated
- They often use React (JavaScript) and .NET in their projects. If you're working on this stack, good luck! You're about to be forgotten in the near future because C# popularity is declining pretty much (As my mentor told me), people are going crazy for ReactJS/NodeJS and Pyt... Xem thêmhon because they're dominating the modern market, nobody wants their career path to be stucked by working with old projects
- They don't use third-party libraries because they have their owns
3. Tasks and workloads:
- Many QAs are unexperienced workers so if you're working in a team with them, you will find them extremely annoying, you may see some bugs are not actually bugs
- There are too many tasks that putting you overloaded
- OT hell
4. Career advancement:
- Performance review is ambiguous, most people have no idea how it's calculated
- If your English or Chinese are good and have a good relationship with Chinese engineers, you will be promoted to Lead/DH
5. People:
- Some Lead/DHs are very cocky and rude because they're backed by the Chinese, the way they supervise their team members is ridiculous, they're judging everything from you (it's their duty so...)
- Many employees, high-level managers and Chinese employees don't have a background in IT or in management (but they're good at English, this is the major reason why these people earned their Lead/DH/GM titles)
- Too many dramas, people here love dramas than their own life
- Politics hell, people are fighting for titles
- No seniors, many good and sane developers don't stick around for too long
6. Management:
- Micro-management (sounds like something negative eh? it doesn't, this is for the sake of hard working people who are sitting on a mountain of works because some people are not even working)
- Working on VM with a shit internet connection
- Not easy to take a day off
7. Benefit:
- Happy hour (last working hour every friday)
Conclusion:
- Join this company if you couldn't find any other place or you're looking for the confirmation of internship
- Don't join if you're looking for the opportunity to learn, work with trending technologies and actual benefits
